Finding the right GPS for me?

So I’ve started driving, but the problem is I have NO sense of direction whatsoever. For my 16th birthday I want my parents to get me a GPS system, but I have no idea what to look for. I want to be able to program points of interest (so that I am able to get back home from where I am), tell me when my turn is coming up, offer an alternate route, and it would help if it had a wide screen. I would like something under 200, but I know I’m probably asking for something in the $300 range. Could any of you with a GPS offer some advice or tell me what you like about yours?

A Garmin Nuvi 205w will give you all the options you are looking for and I have found them at Car Toys for around $150. I have the 205 normal screen on my motorcycle and I like it. The voice to text is loud enough I can hear it even with my helmet on. As far as being able to find your way home. You would enter your address for “Home”. Then no matter where you are, you can hit the home button and it will take you home. Very easy to use.
