Help! How do I mount my Tom Tom GPS on my windshield?

I just recently bought my Tom Tom and I can not figure out just how it to my windshield. It came with a round black circle with a sticky surface and the other is just flat. The GPS extension a piece of plastic at the end, but I am I am not sure how the two and put it on my windscreen, get in touch.
