My Garmin Nuvi GPS is a symbol, I do not understand .. PLEASE help.?

My Garmin Nuvi 255W GPS is an icon that looks like a charger on it. It was dead, then I put it in my car charger, it is turned on, and the only thing she does is appear on the screen a picture of a charger, how it is offered free of charge in the wall instead of my car? Who knows what that means? Or where can I find a guide that describes these icons? (the package came it does not appear to) BTW, it is less than one years old.

You can download the manual from Garmin (strangely my wife's Nuvi download does not come with one either). I see not what you're talking about anywhere mentioned in the manual and I have not seen it before. I think it is possible that the battery needs replacing, but I know it is not. It is also possible that the fuse in the car charger is bad. You might try this sitting at your computer through the USB connection and they can, overnight charge.
