garmin nuvi 250 gps
Does TMC on a GPS (Garmin Nuvi) cost money?
I am looking at most likely a Garmin Nuvi 250 or 350. Most likely will get the 250… but wondered about the TMC compatibility on the 350 model.
It says it supports TMC when I look on the bestbuy.ca website so I can only assume that one has to sign up/subscribe and pay for such a service.
Can anyone tell me if indeed you need to pay for this service and what typical rates are? I am in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada.
Also let me know what you think of this service if you currently have it.

You must subscribe to the service. In the states it’s about $60 a year.
