Transom Mount
How high do I mount my 70 Yamaha on my 1986 15 'Boston Whaler from the rear of the console to the engine?
And what is the right height for maximum Size to achieve speed and efficiency? Motor mounted the first time with cavitation plate to bottom of the trunk-no good. Engine then took 1 1 / 2 inch now it feels is not like getting an engine to the proper engine RPM without trimming of the water. Motor mounted twice by professionals-now I wan't to do it myself!
It is best to talk boot memory upgrade. Remember a few years ago my father had the same problem but manufacturers will be very helpful. Advice on correct height the beam, distance offset (left or right) and prop size.
